Robin is a business and real estate lawyer. Working with clients he takes a multidisciplinary approach — combining an understanding of global trends, financial markets, ecological sustainability, rapidly-evolving technology, and public policy to help clients see the big picture, develop long term strategy, and negotiate and manage transactions, contracts and joint ventures.
Projects Robin has worked on include infrastructure finance, commercial real estate transactions and development, as well as ongoing work as general counsel to small and middle market companies and nonprofit organizations in businesses ranging from hospitality to agribusiness, life sciences, and economic development. Occasionally he has taken on projects such as working with grassroots activists fighting oil pipelines and board work with NGOs such as the Heartland Conservation Alliance or public sector entities like Kansas City’s Environmental Management Commission.
